Drinks and Snacks

Milk

Children under 5 years of age and those on free school meals are entitled to free milk. Milk is also available to other children for a small charge (prices change from time to time, but as a guide, this is usually under £20 a term).  Milk is provided by Cool Milk and may be ordered online - see link below.

Fruit and Snacks

Children in KS1 are provided with a snack (fruit or vegetable) every morning through a government healthy eating initiative.  KS2 children may bring in a healthy snack.

Water is available all day and children may bring in their own water bottle.

Free School Meals

Children in Reception, Y1 and Y2 do not pay for school lunches - the Government's Universal Infant Free School Meals (UIFSM) provides these. If you are currently receiving one of the benefits listed below, you are able to claim free school meals for your child(ren) - these are known as Free School Meals (FSM). We encourage all parents who qualify (whichever year their child(ren) is(are) in - from reception to Y6) to apply for FSM because their child(ren) will receive additional funding as well as the meal - please see our Pupil Premium information:Pupil Premium
